Digital Footprint Scanner

A client-side tool that collects the browser, hardware, display, locale and privacy signals available to any website, then hashes them into a fingerprint. It runs locally and only makes a network request if the visitor enables the IP lookup.

My role

›Designed the scan flow: idle, progress and results states.
›Implemented canvas, WebGL and font fingerprinting.
›Kept collection local, with an explicit opt-in for the IP lookup.
